The American Resort Development Association (ARDA) is the Washington D.C.-based trade association representing the vacation ownership and resort development industries (timeshares). ARDA has almost 750 corporate members ranging from privately held firms to publicly traded corporations with extensive experience in shared ownership interests in leisure real estate. The membership also includes timeshare owner associations (HOAs), resort management companies, industry vendors, suppliers, and consultants; as well as owners through the ARDA Resort Owners Coalition (ARDA-ROC).
CRDA is Canada’s only association dedicated to the vacation ownership and resort development industries. It is a community of active industry leaders - recreational real estate developers, vacation clubs, HOA's, exchange companies and financial institutions as well as professionals and suppliers to the industry.
Resort Trades has been delivering industry news to timeshare resort operators, managers and developers since 1987 by sending copies to every resort, every month. The Trades’ online media resources include ResortTrades.com, a news site that is updated daily, a monthly online newsletter delivered to approximately 25,000 subscribers, and an active social media presence on Twitter (@ResortTrades) and Facebook (@TheResortTrades). The entire enterprise adds value to the industry as a whole with an enormous volume of informative content to assist resort operators in running their properties more efficiently, raising revenues more effectively and making better-informed buying decisions.
The Timeshare Board Members Association, Inc. was organized in 2011 and since its inception, TBMA has focused on its purpose to provide education through a dynamic, continually evolving agenda. The Association seeks the active participation by HOA Board Members, onsite Resort Managers and industry experts to help TBMA in carrying out its mission and in serving its Membership.
Amdetur was founded on July 13, 1987, out of the visionary decision of eight great entrepreneurs whose extraordinary enthusiasm gave life to the Mexican Resort Development Association. It began activities under the leadership of Alberto Villada Camerino, a founder and the first Chairman of the Board, with a commitment to work unceasingly for this country’s tourist industry.
